Lady Gaga is rumoured to be making a cameo appearance in the new Muppets movie.
The eccentric star, who famously once wore a dress made out of Kermit heads, will be joining stars such as Jack Black and Glee’s Jane Lynch in the film, due out Christmas 2011.
A new Muppet character, iPhone-owning Walter, has already been confirmed.
writer (and Forgetting Sarah Marshall star) Jason Segel has already let it slip that when The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made hits theaters next Christmas, Miss Piggy will be a modern  Lady Gaga-inspired character living a colorful life Europe.
Sue Sylvester herself will join an ensemble cast that will reportedly also include Office staffers John Krasinski and Ed Helms, Hangover funnyman Zach Galifianakis and Modern Family funnyman Eric Stonestreet.
Lady Gaga’s connection to the programme dates back to when she wore a Kermit the Frog outfit on German TV during promotion for her debut album 'The Fame'.

The singer wore it again the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is currently on the latest European leg of her Monster Ball world tour.
